Changes in DYNAMICS R4.12.0.5630
- Added the [Shaft misalignment] element for connection between rotors with the same rotation speed in the presence of misalignment in the shaft connection.
- Added module for calculating the stiffness and damping coefficients of plain bearings (DynFB):
- Cylindrical journal bearing.
- Cylindrical bearing with axial grooves [Axial groove journal bearing].
- Bearing with offset segments [Offset half journal bearing].
- Elliptical and multi lobe journal bearing.
- Sliding bearing with wedge-shaped recess in segments [Tapered land journal bearing].
- Bearing with threshold [Pressure dam journal bearing].
- Bearing with self-aligning segments [Tilting pad journal bearing].
- Added option to display Natural Frequency Maps only in the range 25% above the maximum rotation speed (filtering the high frequency range).
- Added the Ctrl + G key combination – adding an element to the last active group.
- Added a command to the Groups context menu – Create Group. Key combination Ctrl+G.
- Added a button to the matrix editing dialog to create a new variable when attaching to a cell.
- Added opening of a variable editing dialog when double-clicking on a connected variable in the stiffness, damping, compliance matrix.
- Added a command to the context menu of the Variables group – Create a new variable. Key combination Ctrl+Shift+V.
- Added a command to the context menu of an element parameter – Create a new variable. Key combination Ctrl+Shift+V.
- Fixed tree collapsing when deleting a variable.
- Corrected: double-clicking on the name of a variable connected to a parameter opens a dialog for editing the variable. Or in the context menu – “Advanced properties”.
- Labels have been added to the columns in the table for setting variable properties in the Parametric Analysis algorithm settings dialog.
- Added display of the stiffness and damping matrix when double-clicking on links in the 2D view of the model.
- The selection of active elements in the 2D view of the model has been changed. Context-sensitive selection is available when the Ctrl button is pressed.
- The behavior when adding subsystem elements when there is no active subsystem element in the model tree has been changed.
- Removed the prompt to select where to add the Rotation Speed element if the active element of the subsystem is selected.
- Added the Ctrl+L key combination – creates a [Link] element in the active assembly.
- Added the Ctrl+Shift+L key combination – creates a [Link] element with a parent assembly request.
- Added Shift+L key combination – adds the [Quasilinear Link] element.
- The [Add Link] command has been added to the context menu of the [Communication point] element.
- When adding any connection to a model from the element library tree, with the Link Point element active, a connection is created in the model tree with a connection to the active connection point.
- Fixed reset of assembly selection in the filter for the results of the [Unbalanced Behavior] and [Nonlinear Analysis] algorithms when switching to a model and back.
- Fixed a crash when adding elements to an empty model and then deleting them.
- Added field for editing the path to the materials database.
- Fixed a program crash when selecting a cell in an empty table in the bearing data import dialog.
- Added clearing of intermediate results of basis calculations when starting the Nonlinear Analysis calculation. Lack of cleaning caused the calculation to stop on some complex models and required the use of a saved basis.
- The error “value out of range: Visibility 0 <= -1 <= 1” that appears when changing the color of structural elements of the “Assembly” type has been fixed.
- Corrected work with adding an intermediate section by double clicking on the model if the active element is a point element. A point element was duplicated.
- Fixed filtering parameters in the “Mass” element when selecting Vis as: Disk->Blades Only-> Vis as file.
- Fixed adding a section to a conical beam or shell. The setting was reset and the element turned into a cylindrical one.
- Added the key combination Ctrl + LMB click (Ctrl + left click) when adding an element. The element is added with dimensions based on the cursor position, and not the dimensions of the previous element.
- The display of the arrow for the position of the center of mass of assemblies and subsystems that have a z offset has been corrected.
