Changes in DYNAMICS R4.10.5

Changes in DYNAMICS R4.10.5

  • Added [Axial force] element. Allows you to simulate frequency changes using bending vibration modes.
  • In the [Quasilinear connection] element, a choice of mode for taking into account the connection “modal” or “nonlinear” has been added. In the “nonlinear” mode, the user can obtain the output of reactions for this type of connection.
  • The [misalignment switch] option has been added to the [Quasilinear connection] element in the “nonlinear” mode. Allows you to set the static displacement of the bearing housing relative to the line of support centers.
  • Added a dialog for displaying calculated information on the finite element (mass-inertial characteristics and compliance matrix).
  • Added multiplication and division of the current parameter using keyboard shortcuts.
  • Added. When working in the [length] editing mode, a new element is added with the parameters of the last section of the previous element.
  • Added color highlighting of user-selected gears.
  • The sorting algorithm for Natural Frequency Maps has been significantly improved.
  • The colors of element visualization have been changed and supplemented. The color menu has been moved to a higher level.
  • Added HowTo section on modeling the influence of axial force ([Axial load] element).
  • Added HowTo section on modeling non-synchronous excitation in the [Unbalanced Behavior] algorithm.
  • Added a HowTo section on automating the entry of tabular data when creating a model using scripts.
  • Reference materials have been added.
  • The designation of the elements of the stiffness and compliance matrix has been corrected. Rows and columns have been replaced. The order of elements in the matrix remains the same.
  • The output to the log of vibration displacement and vibration velocity values for the current point on the graph has been corrected.
  • Fixed element color reset when converting a beam into a shell or vice versa.
  • The conversion of a conical shell with a constant internal diameter into a beam has been corrected.
  • Fixed a violation of the continuity of subsystem elements when specifying a value of z2 less than z1 in an extended element.
  • Fixed change in size z2 of the left extended element when z1 of the right element changes.
  • Fixed transfer of [Assembly], [Subsystems], [Communications] to another [Assembly]. The transferred object is copied (corresponds to Copy+Paste). While holding down the Shift key, the object is also deleted at its old location (corresponds to Cut+Paste).
  • Fixed window scale when adding an element to an empty model.
  • Fixed a crash when repeatedly switching mode shapes on complex models with a large number of sections. Fixed memory leaks when working with 3D display of the model when switching vibration modes.
  • Fixed a crash when calculating with the [Dynamic Load] element located outside the shaft or housing subsystem.
